Eastern Noodle is a true hidden treasure, easy to overlook, no one talks about it, but they really have some great dishes. It’s a long time staple on Cypress Mill in the “Big Box Store” part of Brunswick. I’ll say off the bat, this is not the kind of place you go to if you’re impatient and you want some uniformed, smily faced kid with flair barking a fake greeting at you. This is very simply Ms. Ruby and her husband, Henry, doing slow, freshly made food at its finest.
IMHO Eastern Noodle is named just right. The noodles are to die for. Henry really is the master, offering up choices like egg noodle, vermicelli, udon, mung bean, thick egg, and angel hair rice noodles. The latter is our favorite, but you can satisfy just about any noodle craving you desire here.
The prices are so right too. We’ve been shocked at what even some food trucks are charging, when you can go to Eastern Noodle and get two (2) Steamed BBQ pork or Red Bean buns for a cool $3.25. What a great snack for a great price!
Sometimes we come and just have an appetizer feast with their amazing dumplings, dim sum, spring rolls and crab rangoon. So good!
They have a huge variety of daily specials too, and we highly recommend taking a look at those. The specials, as well as the regular menu is chock full of the freshest vegetables, the most tender meats and sauces that are so full of flavor, it makes my mouth water just thinking about it.
